Day 1:Cochin – Colombo – Kandy - Elephant orphanage - Cultural show
Upon arrival, 0ur representative will meet you at the airport and will proceed to Kandy. Enroute visit Pinnawela Elephant orphanage- Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is an orphanage, nursery and captive breeding ground for wild Asian elephants located at Pinnawala village. Pinnawala is not able for having the largest herd of captive elephants in the world. Tourists can observe the bathing elephants from the broad river bank as the herd interacts socially, bathing and playing. After lunch check into hotel. By evening visit The Kandy Dance cultural show. According to the legend, the origins of the dance lies in dance ritual known as the Kohombakankariya (named for the deity Kohomba), which is also known as Kohomba yak kankariya or simply kankariya. Traditional dance masters believe that originally the king of a place referred to as “Malaya Rata”, and his two brothers, performed the first Kohombakankariya. Some believe that this “Malaya Rata” was located in India. After dinner, proceed to Hotel for an overnight stay. (LUNCH, DINNER)
Day 2:Kandy- Botanical Garden – Tooth relic Temple – Gem Museum – Kandy City tour Colombo city tour
After delicious breakfast checkout from hotel and proceed for Kandy city tour. Visit Kandy temple – Sri Dalada Maligawa or the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is a Buddhist temple in the city of Kandy After that proceed to Gem Museums & Peradeniya botanical garden.
Royal Botanical Garden, Peradeniya is about 5.5 km to the westfrom the city of Kandy in the Central Province of Sri Lanka. It attracts 2 million visitors annually. It is near the Mahaweli River (the longest in Sri Lanka) .[2] It is renowned for its collection of orchids. The garden includes more than 4000 species of plants, including orchids, spices, medicinal plants and palm trees. The total area of the botanical garden is 147 acres (0.59 km2), at 460 meters above sea level, and with a 200-day annual rainfall. Later arrival at Colombo then proceed to Colombo city tour. Later back to the hotel, Overnight stay. (BREAKFAST, LUNCH, DINNER)
Day 3: Colombo – Kochi
After having your breakfast, complete the check-out formalities and transfer to Airport to catch your flight to Kochi. (BREAKFAST)
